Barrymore welcomes baby girl

Drew Barrymore has welcomed her second child with husband Will Kopelman.

The Charlie’s Angels actress gave birth to daughter Frankie earlier today according to her rep.

The couple are already parents to an 18-month-old little girl called Olive.

“Happy to announce that today we are the proud parents of our second daughter, Frankie Barrymore Kopelman,” the couple told People Magazine in a statement. “Olive has a new little sister, and everyone is healthy and happy!”

The 39-year-old star married art advisor Will in June 2012 after dating for over a year. That September, Drew gave birth to Olive, having kept much of her pregnancy under wraps. But during her second pregnancy with Frankie, she decided to take a different approach.

“Last time I never commented on it and people just stalked me the entire time. So yes, it’s happening, it’s true. I tried to keep it a secret for as long as possible,” the Never Been Kissed star told the publication soon after she announced it.

Ahead of the birth, the Blended actress revealed she felt a lot more relaxed about this labour than she did before having Olive.

“I feel very calm. I do,” she told Access Hollywood at CinemaCon in Las Vegas at the end of last month. “I was nervous on my first one, but this one I feel much calmer.”
