Bradley Cooper 'couldn't commit to Suki'

Suki Waterhouse was apparently frustrated that Bradley Cooper was stalling when it came to marriage.

The couple split last week after two years of dating, with friends said to be shocked as they thought they were on the verge of tying the knot.

However it seems they both wanted to start a family at different times, which started to become a bone of contention between the pair.

"Her friends have been convinced Bradley was close to proposing, but for some reason he just never came through. Suki was adamant that if he couldn't bring himself to commit to her, with or without a baby, then she's obviously not the right girl for him," a source told British magazine Grazia.

"Suki loves Bradley, but her career has just taken off and she wants to have a few more years of working and to get married before starting a family."

At 23, Suki is 17 years Bradley's junior. Her career as a catwalk model is going from strength to strength, so now wouldn't be the right time to fall pregnant.

The pair may soon bump into each other though, as Bradley will be treading the boards in London's West End in play The Elephant Man. But apparently he's told British beauty Suki that the show will take up most of his time.

"Suki was excited about Bradley performing in her hometown, but he made it clear they wouldn't be seeing much of each other. He's dedicated to the role and it takes up a huge amount of his time and energy - it overrides everything else. That was the final straw for Suki," the insider said.
