Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's honeymoon has reportedly exhausted them.

The loved-up couple tied the knot in August during a private ceremony in France, after more than nine years together.

Following their nuptials they jetted out to Malta with their six children, incorporating a honeymoon with work commitments.

"They've been working long days, often starting at 5am. They're exhausted and, while they've enjoyed working together, it's not the perfect honeymoon they'd imagined," an insider revealed to British magazine Grazia.

Brad and Angelina are filming new movie By the Sea, with Angelina also taking on writing and directorial duties for the flick.
It's thought they only enjoyed two days of official honeymoon time onboard a yacht, before moving to neighbouring island Gozo to begin production.

While work gets underway, their kids - Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox - are apparently getting restless.

"There isn't much for kids to do in Gozo and the children get bored. They've been complaining that they miss their home comforts, and Brad and Angelina have spent a fortune shipping their favourite food, like sushi, over from the mainland to keep them happy.

"Being on the yacht was their first chance to have some fun, so they all really enjoyed it," the source explained.

Brad and Angelina have previously teamed up on screen for 2005 film Mr. & Mrs. Smith, but their latest project hasn't been as enjoyable an experience, says the source.

"[Filming] has been a far cry from the magical experience they had with Mr. and Mrs. Smith. They are already planning a trip after they've finished so they can spend quality time together, just the two of them," the insider said.
