Chris Pratt has teased audiences that they will see Jurassic Park “torn down” in the upcoming Jurassic World.

The 35-year-old actor stars as the lead in the highly anticipated movie sequel and admits he was more than a little excited about taking on the role.

Chris also revealed that adrenaline-fuelled film will definitely live up to fans’ expectations.

“I'm excited about people seeing the park,” Chris told Total Film. “The park is up and running. Everything John Hammond dreamed has come true and there's now a park with 20,000 visitors a day. And everything he dreamed of and more has come true.

“And you will see the park, as an audience, and you will see it get torn down!”

Chris added that being given the opportunity to star in the latest installment of the franchise was a dream come true because he has always been a huge fan.

“One of my most influential movies as a kid was Jurassic Park,” he said. “It's very surreal but that's kind of been the theme at the moment.

“These moments that are very surreal are becoming real and now I'm not just a fan of the franchise - I'm a peer of its artistic creators. “

Bryce Dallas Howard and Ty Simpkins will also star in Jurassic World, which is directed by Safety Not Guaranteed’s Colin Trevorrow.

Jurassic Park director Steven Spielberg is executive producing Jurassic World, which was filmed from a script written by Derek Connolly and Colin.

Jurassic World is due for release in June 2015.
