Matt Damon is definitely talking about another Bourne movie, his co-star Joan Allen reveals.

The 43-year-old actor has taken on the role of Jason Bourne in three of the four movies in the franchise – The Bourne Identity in 2002, The Bourne Supremacy in 2004 and The Bourne Ultimatum in 2007.

And while Matt left Jeremy Renner to take the reins in The Bourne Legacy in 2012, he is in talks to return to one of his most famous roles.

Although Variety first reported discussions were taking place last month, Matt’s former co-star Joan has now confirmed in a new interview talks are heating up.

“I heard the other day recently from my agent that [director] Paul Greengrass and Matt Damon were talking again about another Bourne movie,” Joan told the New York Daily News.

She also revealed her character Pam Landy, who did appear briefly in the Jeremy instalment, could return once again for the next film.

However, Joan remained silent about any storyline hints for the potential movie.

“My agent did get a call checking my availability over the next few months, which could mean absolutely anything, everything, nothing,” she said.

Joan’s character Landy was seen in the last movie apparently on her way to prison after her involvement with Operation Treadstone, responsible for main character Bourne’s amnesia, was revealed.

But the actress said she has no idea what kind of plot could be in store for her character.

“The last one I was in...I had one scene and I shot for four hours,” Joan said. “And that was it. I guess they’re starting to talk and see.”
