Maggie Gyllenhaal is attached to play Richard’s unknowing wife and Ryan O’Nan is also aboard, playing a young hustler who becomes caught up in Richard’s deceit.

Ariel Vromen is set to direct the film, and is working from the script he adapted with Morgan Land from Anthony Bruno’s book The Iceman: The True Story of A Cold-Blooded Killer.

Ariel is best known for his films Simple Lies and Danika starring Marisa Tomei.

The Israeli director is aiming to start shooting next month.

David has been taking a back seat from acting recently and has been concentrating on directing. The last movie he worked on was thriller Trust, starring Clive Owen.
