Demi Moore: I want to surprise

The actress has worked on several films recently including LOL, Margin Call and Another Happy Day. Demi has starred in hit pictures since the ‘80s and believes the secret to longevity in Hollywood is being able to reinvent yourself. The star relishes a challenge project and would love to step behind the camera to work on a passion project.

“I like to surprise the fans, with my choices,” she told Italy’s A Magazine. “Today I'd like to work as a director, maybe make a TV movie on issues that involve several generations of women: abortion, the desire to have everything - love, work, career - our relationship with the world of communications. The fact that children come into our lives and upset all our plans.”

Demi has never been afraid to take risks. The 49-year-old realises how tough it is to make it in Hollywood and is always happy to help out budding new stars.

“Nobody is free from failures. There is always a matter of growth, challenges, of freedom,” she added. “At work I have always been professionally courageous. And if today we have my name in the cast can help a young filmmaker, I am extremely available.

“But beware: Hollywood is giving you everything, but is asking the same.”

According to Deadline, Demi has signed up to appear in Very Good Girls. She will play the mother of Elizabeth Olsen’s character.
