Demi Moore's friends are reportedly supporting her through a tough family time.

The American actress is apparently feeling the strain after her youngest daughter Tallulah, 20, allegedly checked into rehab for alcohol and drug issues.

It was reported that Demi and her ex-husband Bruce Willis had issued their offspring with an ultimatum; get help or they take everything away from her.

"Everybody around Demi is telling her she did the best thing by convincing Tallulah to go to rehab. But she can't shake her feelings of guilt. At the moment all she can do is support Tallulah and hope for the best," an insider revealed to British magazine Grazia.

Demi's guilt is said to stem for her own battles with drink and drugs, which she reportedly suffered with during the mind '80s.
The Ghost actress also checked into a rehab facility in 2012 following the breakdown of her marriage to Ashton Kutcher, and was treated for anorexia and a prescription pill addiction.

"Tallulah is making progress but Demi is in pieces. She's convinced she's passed her own problems with drugs and alcohol on to her daughter. Her eldest daughter Rumer is really worried about her mother and is trying to help her deal with the shock.

She keeps breaking down in tears," the source added.

Despite their troubles, the family enjoyed Rumer's recent 26th birthday.

Rumer uploaded a photo to Instagram of her birthday cake, and thanked her mom for helping making the day a success.

"Best birthday cake ever. Thank you mama for making this day do special (sic)," she posted next to a photo of a gun shaped cake.
