Drew Barrymore: I get better with age

Drew Barrymore’s “worst nightmare” would be to go back in time.

The Never Been Kissed actress has been in the industry since she was four years old. She’s had many ups and downs during her life but now she’s in a good place she would hate to relive moments from her past again.

“I think my worst nightmare would be someone offering me to go backwards,” she told the New York Daily News’ Confidenti@l column. “The older you get, the f**king better you get.”

Growing up Drew battled drug addiction and alcohol abuse. She also has two failed marriages under her belt but she is now blissfully happy with third husband Will Kopelman, with whom she has two daughters, Olive, two, and Frankie, one.

The Charlie’s Angels star takes her role as a mother very seriously, and admitted to the outlet that she has put her career on the backburner because of them.

“I can’t do movies right now honestly very much,” she said, adding that she works from home a lot. “I am with them every morning, every night, every weekend.”

One thing she has had time to work on, however, is her Flower eyewear line. Drew launched her Flower cosmetics brand in 2013 and has now progressed into sunglasses and optical lenses. With a nod to her acting career, she has named each pair of frames in the collection after a character she has played on screen.

“There was an Olive in there because I did Olive, the Other Reindeer,” she explained. “I never played a character named Frankie for my other daughter.”
