Jennifer Garner reportedly "couldn't take" Ben Affleck's gambling anymore.

Yesterday news broke that the couple, who recently reached their ten-year anniversary, are divorcing after months of speculation surrounding their marriage. It was also revealed that they apparently have no prenuptial agreement, as they are not worried about splitting their assets.

While it's unsure why they decided to split, TMZ now reports it's because Jennifer was no longer able to put up with her husband's betting habits. A source explains that the problem has escalated in recent weeks, to a point where the actress "couldn't take it anymore".

However, they also add that partying wasn't an issue for Ben, who entered an alcohol rehabilitation facility in 2001, and that Ben never approached other women while out.

Ben's rumoured gambling problem hasn't gone unnoticed by the public, as various publications have uploaded photos of him in casinos flashing cash in the past. He was even banned from the Hard Rock in Las Vegas for counting cards in April 2014.

Ben slammed rumours Jennifer was leaving him because of his gambling in Details magazine last year, calling them lies and "complete bulls**t".

The actor also stated that he doesn't like gambling and he couldn't believe that such comments would be made.

It's thought Ben and Jennifer decided to delay their divorce until they made a decade of marriage in order to meet the criteria of California’s Family Code Section 4336. With three children together, this code would mean a family court judge can determine which party receives spousal support and how much they will receive.

However insiders recently told TMZ that this might not be the case and that Jennifer doesn't need any financial support. The couple's business managers are apparently dealing with proceedings and they're avoiding making it a bitter war for the sake of their kids.
