Gwyneth and Chris’ Spring Break

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are spending Spring Break together.

The former couple famously announced their split, which they called a “conscious uncoupling”, last year.

And 12 months after their marriage broke down, Gwyneth and Chris were seen enjoying a holiday in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico together.

The pair were joined by their children, 10-year-old Apple and eight-year-old Moses on the beach break.

“Going away together may seem unusual but that's Gwyneth and Chris,” a source told MailOnline of the getaway.

Images of the pair’s vacation showed Gwyneth showing off her amazing figure in a skimpy black bikini as she soaked up the sun.

Meanwhile, Chris opted to stay covered up in board shorts and a long-sleeved green top.

Despite not being together any more, Gwyneth and Chris have remained close friends.

They even sparked rumours of a reconciliation after they spent Valentine’s Day together.

However, in an interview with Howard Stern back in January, Gwyneth insists she and Chris are just friends, and will do their utmost to remain so.

“It’s a noble idea, and it's a great thing to try to do for your kids," Gwyneth said. "We're always going to be a family."

"We actually have a really strong friendship and we laugh and have fun. And we're lucky in that our parenting styles overlap a lot."

On the break, neither Gwyneth nor Chris were seen wearing wedding rings.

Chris has been dating The Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence on and off since August, while Gwyneth has been linked to Glee producer Brad Falchuk.
