Hilary Swank loves watching the sun rise.

The double Oscar-winning actress recently finished filming new TV series The One Percent, opposite Ed Harris, which hits screens next year.

When she gets the chance, Hilary enjoys nothing more than watching the sunrise and the peaceful feeling it brings.

"I'm just getting back from Europe, so I've been watching the sun rise every day for the past five days. It's such a quiet and peaceful time - it feels like the day is all yours. I love enjoying the sunrise with my dogs and a cup of tea or coffee or a walk on the beach," she smiled to People magazine.

The publication featured her in its weekly One Last Thing article, which quizzes celebrities on the last time they did certain things. When asked the last time she had been recognised, Hilary confessed she often gets mistaken for a fellow Hollywood A-lister.

“Just today someone told me how great I was in Dallas Buyers Club. I had to correct them to let them know that was Jennifer Garner,” she laughed.

The 40-year-old, who celebrated her milestone birthday in July, also spoke about a party favour she put on for guests who came to her summer bash.

"A little-known fact about me is that I love to dance. The last memorable time was at my 40th birthday party. I hired a teacher for everyone to learn line dancing, and we danced the night away under the stars at this incredible ranch north of Los Angeles," she smiled.
