Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley is set to produce a horror movie based on Jersey Shore.

The reality personality starred in the raucous MTV series from 2009-2012 and it appears a film adaptation of the programme is now in the works.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, JWoww has signed on to executive produce a feature adaptation entitled Jersey Shore Massacre.

It seems the film has a comedic element, as members from The Howard Stern Show including Sal Governale, Richard Christy, Bigfoot and notorious porn star Ron Jeremy are part of the cast.

THR reports Jersey Shore Massacre follows “a tried-and-true Jersey girl”, portrayed by Danielle Dallacco, and her friends as they journey to the coast for “a weekend of sun and sin”. But their fun plans are quickly destroyed by a psychopathic killer.

JWoww is elated to be part of the project, as she is convinced it will leave audiences tickled.

"From GTL, grenades and the crazy shore life, this insane horror comedy movie will not disappoint!" she ensured.

Jersey Shore Massacre is written and directed by Paul Tarnopol, the filmmaker behind 2012 horror picture Girls Gone Dead. The project will be released in theatres and VOD in June 2014.

JWoww is massively busy right now, as she is currently expecting her first child with fiancé Roger Mathews.

The 28-year-old star recently revealed they will welcome a baby girl, and she couldn’t be more elated with the news.

"I pictured a boy this whole time, so when I saw 'girl' on the paperwork, I was like, 'No way!' But deep down I think I knew," she revealed to Us Weekly.

"She will be my best friend and daddy's little girl. I can't wait for everything; from her first steps to her first dance class."
