Jackman addresses wife’s ‘no-Jolie rule’

Hugh Jackman isn’t upset by his wife’s desire for him to never work with Angelina Jolie.

The 46-year-old actor will celebrate his 20th marriage anniversary next year with his other half Deborra-Lee Furness, who is an actress.

While speaking on an Australian talk show earlier this month, Deborra-Lee jested about why she never wants to see Hugh smooching Angelina onscreen, and he is OK with his wife’s playful demand.

"So she said that – as long as she doesn’t work with Brad Pitt, we’re cool,” he smiled to ET Online while attending an event for Comic-Con International in San Diego, California.

But joking aside, Hugh thinks the rules he and Deborra-Lee have created for each other keeps the spark in their marriage alive.

The couple discuss everything with one another and they respect each other’s boundaries.

"Deb and I have been married for 20 years. We have a lot of rules. We’ve very balanced,” The Wolverine star noted.

Hugh and Deborra-Lee share two adopted children together.

After being asked how the couple cope with seeing each other share passionate kisses onscreen with other sexy actors, Deborra-Lee joked about the Angelina ban she instituted on Hugh.

"I’ve told his agent he’s not allowed to work with Angelina, I’m sure she’s lovely," she laughed during an interview on Australia’s Today show that took place over a week ago.

"That’s the deal with this business. If you get it right, if you pick the right partner, then, you traverse all those travails and challenges," she clarified.
