Odds-on to be the best blockbuster of the summer, WILD CARD, is available to own on DVD and Blu-ray on the 27th July, with a Digital Download and VOD release available just prior to that on 13th July.
Featuring a full-house cast, the star studded release reunites Jason Statham (FURIOUS 7, THE EXPENDABLES trilogy, HOMEFRONT) with EXPENDABLES 2 director, Simon West, as the titular Nick Wild, a Las Vegas bodyguard with lethal professional skills and a dangerous gambling problem.
When a friend is attacked by a sadistic thug, Nick strikes back, only to find out the attacker is the son of a powerful mob boss. Suddenly Nick is plunged into the criminal underworld, chased by enforcers and wanted by the mob. Having raised the stakes, Nick has one last play to change his fortunes...and this time, it's all or nothing.
The action-packed release contains a royal flush of extras totalling over 24 minutes of additional footage, giving you an insight into the gripping Las Vegas underbelly brought to the surface within the film.
These exclusive extras, only available in the DVD, Blu-ray and digital releases take an in-depth look at WILD CARD’S fascinating cast of characters, from the wise-cracking, self-destructive Nick Wild to the strong female presence of D.D, expertly played by Sofía Vergara.
Not only that but the extra footage takes a forensic look at the science behind the film’s mind-bending action, including how Corey Yuen, expert martial arts choreographer, injected emotion and artistry into the film’s hand-to-hand stunts, striking the correct blend between action and drama.
Other extras exclusive to the release include an in-depth look at the script of WILD CARD, based on the critically acclaimed Heat and written by two-time Academy® Award-winning writer William Goldman (Best Original Screenplay, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, 1969; Best Adapted Screenplay, All the President's Men, 1976).
