(Cover) - EN Movies - Jeremy Renner feels like “the luckiest guy alive”.

The actor has seen his career soar in recent years with prominent roles in The Hurt Locker, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol and Avengers Assemble. He is also starring in a new instalment of the Bourne franchise and insists his success is beyond his wildest dreams.

“I’m the luckiest guy alive. I get to be a part of really good movies. To me, every time you get a massive-budget movie I’ll shy away from it because there are usually too many cooks in the kitchen. I stumbled across some really great pieces of cinema. I got really lucky. If we get to do another one of these, right on,” he told Empire magazine.

However, 41-year-old Jeremy insists he won’t feel too downhearted if he doesn’t get to reprise his role in a subsequent instalment of The Avengers, Mission: Impossible or Bourne.

The star remains philosophical about his future and is happy to enjoy living in the moment.

“If Tom wants me for another Mission, I’m happy to do it… If Avengers 2 happens, awesome. If it doesn’t, awesome,” he explained. “I’m not going to worry about what comes next. I’ll just worry about talking to you right now. I could be dead by the time Avengers 2 comes around. Who knows? I don’t want to be, but you know what I’m saying.”
