Joseph-Gordon Levitt is Monroe fan

(Cover) - EN Movies - Joseph Gordon-Levitt thinks Marilyn Monroe doesn’t “get enough credit”.

The 31-year-old recently starred in the latest Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises.

Joseph has been speaking about the Hollywood icons he looks up to, and claims Marilyn deserves more recognition.

“Marilyn Monroe doesn’t get enough credit as an actress because if she’d been only good-looking without the talent, she couldn’t have driven men crazy the same way,” he explained to British magazine Company.

Joseph can soon be seen in upcoming action movie Looper, where he plays a younger version of co-star Bruce Willis.

Marilyn isn’t the only star the actor admires for their acting talent.

“I’ve been a fan of Leonardo DiCaprio since I was very young,” he revealed.

“I learned by watching his movies that you could be a huge star and still be a genuine, dignified actor who makes choices to do movies that are interesting. He’s a role model.”
