Josh Hartnett expecting child with Egerton

Josh Hartnett and his girlfriend Tamsin Egerton are expecting a baby together.

The 36-year-old Black Hawk Down actor and the Love, Rosie actress have been dating since 2012.

And Josh’s representative has confirmed Tamsin’s pregnancy to PageSix.

“It’s true and they are beyond thrilled,” his spokesperson told the outlet.

Neither Tamsin, 26, nor Josh have any children from previous relationships, so this will be the first tot for both of them.

The couple met on the set of their feature Singularity, but they didn’t begin dating until after the filmed wrapped.

Josh has a bit of a reputation for coupling up his co-stars, as he has previously romanced Amber Sainsbury, who he appeared alongside in 30 Days of Night, and Julia Stiles who he starred in O with.

The star is also known to be a ladies’ man of sorts, confessing to elle.com previously he can be “a pretty difficult boyfriend”.

But in the same interview, he spoke about how having children might change his approach to relationships.

"Like, do I believe in unicorns?" he mused when asked if he believes in monogamy. "I believe in monogamy. It’s not easy, but it can be amazing. Your trust and bond can deepen so completely. You give everything and so you have a partner - a real partner - as opposed to someone who’s around until the next best thing comes along.

"When the question of having kids raises its head, then I think it’s time to consider [marriage]."
