Jude Law excited for future roles

(Cover) - EN Movies - Jude Law feels “excited” about the next decade in his career.

The British actor has already enjoyed success on the big screen and in the theatre. Jude still feels passionate about acting and has plenty to look forward to.

“I think the next ten years could be the most exciting of my career. I'm pretty optimistic about my future,” he is quoted as saying by the Italian edition of Elle. “Lately I'm more productive and therefore I hope to realise my plans. Also, compared to previous years, I have more projects in the theatre. I seem to be only at the beginning [of my career].”

The star insists he has no fears about turning 40 later this year. Jude doesn’t believe this will have a negative impact upon his career. In fact, he feels he will benefit from entering a new decade in his life.

“At that age you have the opportunity to play more mature and challenging roles. At that point of your life beauty becomes less important. What is really important is what you are able to do as an actor,” he explained. “I think it will be interesting to be older. It involves a lot of possibilities. The future doesn't frighten me at all. On the contrary, I am looking forward to it.”
