KStew: I’m not afraid to get hurt

Kristen Stewart finds a person’s drive “the most attractive thing.”

The Still Alice actress famously dated her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson for three years. Since their split she hasn’t been linked to anyone specific, but that's not to say she doesn’t know what she looks for in a potential suitor.

“For me, the most attractive thing in a person is drive – genuine, impulse expressed for the sake of it, not for perception. I think that’s hot,” she told CR Fashion Book.

In fact, the 24-year-old is very intuitive and she believes she can quickly judge who the right people to welcome into her life are. And despite going through major heartbreak when her relationship with Robert ended, Kristen isn’t afraid to make herself vulnerable to someone else in the future.

“It’s not hard for me to figure out who I like or who my friends are,” she continued. “I trust my energy meter, but I’m also not afraid to let me people in who might hurt me.”

As well as discussing relationships, the actress told the publication how she goes about choosing her roles. For Kristen, the more extreme lengths she has to go to in order to understand her character, the better.

“I love putting myself through hell and really experiencing that pain,” she confessed. “That’s when I feel the most fulfilled, when at the end I feel like I’ve slaughtered myself. And it’s so worth it.”

However after back to back roles in the last few years, Kristen recently admitted that she is looking forward to some down time.

“I wanna stay home for a while, I worked for like a solid two years on a bunch of stuff I was really into but like I need to breathe and maybe do physical things,” she said during an appearance on Live! with Kelly & Michael.
