Kendall Jenner feels like she leads two alternate lives.

The 19-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has achieved success in her own right in recent months, going from a fixture on her family’s reality TV show to a full-fledged model for some of the largest luxury brands.

And in a new profile published by The New York Times, the teen compares herself to Miley Cyrus’ alter-ego in the Disney series that first won the pop star fame.

"It's definitely two different worlds," she told the outlet of being a TV star and budding catwalk queen. "I feel like Hannah Montana. But it's fun."

Kendall, who’s walked for the likes of Chanel, Givenchy and Marc Jacobs, recently soared to new heights when she was announced as the new face of cosmetic giant Estée Lauder.

Executives at the firm touted her Kendall’s “fashion credibility” as well as her social media presence as good fits for the brand.

And the star is keen to harness her fame in the most positive way possible.

"I just want to be the best me I can be,” she said. “So having the power that social media does, I think just seeing how many people care about you and seeing how many people, like, want to watch what you're doing, it just makes you really want to do the best you can do."

The younger sister of Kim, Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian and daughter of Kris and Bruce Jenner, Kendall does, however, acknowledge her reality TV presence can be a major hindrance. But she's determined to prove her critics wrong.

"Some people are hesitant with me, and they just worry or wonder for a second,” she explained, trailing off: “But then when the chance gets taken..."
