Kim to voice alien

Kim Kardashian is set to voice a cartoon alien on American Dad!

The reality star will appear in an upcoming episode of the hit animated show as a love interest for the character Roger, reports Entertainment Weekly.

Kim plays a furry alien who crash-lands in Langley Falls, the home of the Smith family who extra-terrestrial Roger stays with. She then falls for Roger, voiced by show creator Seth MacFarlane.

Kim’s episode is likely to be later in the new season, which airs in the US on September 29.

Previous celebrity guests include Olivia Wilde, Zooey Deschanel, Alison Brie and Stanley Tucci.

This will be one of Kim’s first work projects since giving birth to daughter North West in June. And her partner Kanye West can’t stop gushing about how proud he is of her.

“Family time – it's what Kim gave me," Kanye said during an interview with the BBC on Monday. "She gave me everything. She gave me a family. She gave me a support system. She was in a powerful enough situation where she could love me without asking me for money, which is really hard for me to find.”

Kanye also vowed to make sure the rules for paparazzi are changed before baby North grows up. The 36-year-old is adamant that his daughter be paid any time someone takes her picture.

"I'm going to tell my daughter, by the time she understands what it was, 'Man, me and your mother were in a completely different situation than you're in.’ People could take pictures, people could climb over your fence, and you wouldn't even get paid for it. You see all these checks that you getting at age six because people are taking your picture?… I made that happen, Nori. That's what I'm going to tell her."
