Lucy Hale is “scared” of post-Thanksgiving sales.

The 25-year-old Pretty Little Liars star has enjoyed lucrative success thus far in her acting career, but is apparently still susceptible to a good deal. And she found her first time attempting to shop on Black Friday quite daunting.

“I can honestly say I've never been Black Friday shopping,” she wrote on her Twitter account on Friday. “I'm about to attempt it and I'm scared.”

The annual shopping frenzy is known to be wild all over America, and this year has even spread to the UK. People notoriously line up for hours outside stores in order to snatch up cheap items as soon as the doors open, and there are even fights from time to time.

But the brunette beauty appears to have made it in and out safely.

“Survived NYC Black Friday ...barely,” she later wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of herself and a blonde girlfriend.

Apparently she found what she was looking for. Although many people rush to electronics stores to pick up discounted televisions, Lucy seemed to have stumbled across a T-shirt representing her favourite band.

“I'll never buy anything better. #hansonforever@hansonmusic,” she wrote alongside an image of a piece of Hanson merchandise.

Prior to her shopping expedition, Lucy in fact had to work over Thanksgiving. She was perched atop a float at the 88th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, waving at fans as she passed by in the streets of New York City.

She was joined by a plethora of other celebrities, including Nick Jonas, Idina Menzel and Meghan Trainor.
