Lucy Hale's toilet trauma

Lucy Hale was saved by a flight attendant after getting locked in the plane's toilet.

The Pretty Little Liars star is currently enjoying a relaxing break between shooting the teen drama and recording her country music.

She took to Twitter to share a snap of herself holding up two seashells against an idyllic beach backdrop. However, things didn't start off quite so well for the 25-year-old.

"Also, big thanks to my flight attendant the other day on @united for saving me from being locked in the bathroom. True story. (sic)," she tweeted.

Lucy is on holiday with her friend Annie Breiter and has been sharing snaps of herself and her blonde pal. Unfortunately, there have been a few misunderstandings since they arrived.

"Pretty sure people on this island think we're dating hahah anniebreiter," she wrote adding, "Update : just got asked if I was on vacation with my parents. #babyface (sic)"

Lucy and her Pretty Little Liars co-stars Ashley Benson, Shay Mitchell and Troian Bellisario have a huge Twitter and Instragram following. For Lucy, it's all about helping her fans understand that she's just a normal girl.

"[Pretty Little Liars] is about how we look too. That’s terrifying sometimes because you’re breaking out or you feel gross and you still have to be in front of the camera," she recently told the US edition of Cosmopolitan.

"We’ll post pictures on Instagram and people will be like, 'Y’all are so flawless.'

"Little do they know it’s fake hair, fake eyelashes, and a good filter. Little girls see that and think they have to be like that."
