Michael Fassbender glad father missed Shame

(Cover) - EN Movies - Michael Fassbender thinks it is “lucky” his father didn’t go to see his movie Shame because it’s so risqué.

In the movie Michael plays Brandon Sullivan, who is a sex addict.

For large portions of the movie the actor has to appear naked and many of the sexual scenes are graphic

“My dad was going to see it but luckily that didn’t pan out,” Micheal grinned.

The film is Michael’s second with director Steve McQueen.

The star admits they needed a strong bond to film some of the more challenging scenes.

“But y’know I trust Steve implicitly,” he told Total Film. “I knew it was an important story to tell, so that gets rid of all the worries you have about nudity. You just need to serve the story as best as possible and really commit, because there’s nothing worse than if you’re going into it with trepidation or doubt.”
