Miles Teller: Tinder is cowardly

Miles Teller thinks Tinder "expedites everything".

The 27-year-old actor is becoming more and more sought after in the movie industry, with features such as Insurgent and The Fantastic Four remake in the pipeline. He was previously rumoured to have romanced his co-star Shailene Woodley, but he has denied this and confirmed he's currently in a steady relationship with someone else.

While he's off the market new dating apps have arisen, but he doesn't feel like he's missing out.

"I like human interaction. Tinder puts all of these girls in front of you, so you don't have to go to a bar and you don’t have to have the balls to ask a girl for her number. Tinder expedites everything," Miles told the September issue of Elle magazine.

"Here’s four pictures. If you want ‘em, swipe to the right. Oh she said yes, too. Now you guys are texting each other and you could be hanging out within an hour. Not everyone’s looking for a relationship all the time. And that’s fine. But it’s not something that I’m like, 'Oh god, they’re having so much fun.'"

Miles has even introduced his girlfriend to his grandparents, and revealed his grandmother often tweets his other half. He believes the key to a long-lasting relationship is respect and happiness.

Asked whether Viagra plays a part also Miles dismissed the idea, but did reveal he has dabbled with the pill.

"Uh, yeah. I've taken it before. You know, curiosity killed the cat. It's a big-ass pill. My buddy in Vegas gave me one," he recalled. "He was like, 'Bro, break it in half and take it two hours before you're ready.' When people are very specific on the instructions, that makes me kind of wary. But he was right."

On the topic of sex being better with Viagra, Miles admits he's unsure, but advised users can rely on it to work when they're "really hammered".
