Nicolas Cage walking on the Wild Side

(Cover) - EN Movies - Nicolas Cage will be taking a walk on the Wild Side for his new movie.

The actor will star as a ruthless killer in the road trip drama with Jesse Baget at the helm.

The director also co-wrote the screenplay with Stefania Moscato, according to Deadline.

The movie co-stars Juno Temple and Johnny Knoxville and is about a small town beauty queen who is being chased by a murderer, played by Nicolas.

His character is out to retrieve diamonds he stole during a murderous heist and somehow lost to Lila Belle Clyde, portrayed by Juno.

She will be tasked with dodging the authorities, a news reporter and Odel, “a self-described wolf determined to hunt her down and recover his swag.”

Shooting on the movie begins in Louisiana on July 23.

A theatre release date for Wild Side has not yet been set.
