Nina Dobrev has 'moved on from Ian'

Nina Dobrev is reportedly “good” with Ian Somerhalder’s new relationship.

Nina and Ian met on the set of The Vampire Diaries in 2009. The co-stars dated for two years, and it was rumoured that they were talking about getting engaged before calling it quits in May last year. Now, the 35-year-old actor is reportedly involved with Twilight actress Nikki Reed, 26.

“Nina has gone on with her dating life just as much as Ian has, and they both made a decision not to ruin the show or their friendship with their feelings on outside relationships,” an insider told HollywoodLife. “They are good, and they will be good if Ian and Nikki take it to the next level.”

Ian and Nikki were spotted earlier this month at a farmers market in California. The pair was also seen jogging together.

“Ian and Nikki are still in the trial stage of their relationship and they haven’t shared with many that they are testing it out,” the source revealed. “They are definitely keeping others feelings close as they work on their decisions to start an exclusive relationship together. They don’t want to upset anyone.”

In addition to Nikki and Nina being friends, the two reportedly went on double dates while Nina was dating Ian and Nikki was with husband Paul McDonald, who she filed for divorce from earlier this year.

Since their split, Nina has been linked to Derek Hough, Liam Hemsworth and Michael Trevino. Ian has been linked to Molly Swenson.

The former couple has insisted there is no bad blood between them, and even shared a kiss at this year’s People’s Choice Awards while accepting the prize for Best Chemistry.
