Olivia Munn and her American football star boyfriend have no rules about when they have sex, but tend not to on game days.

The actress has been dating Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers for around seven months. During an appearance on US talk show Watch What Happens Live last night, the star was quizzed on the intimate details of her relationship - and took the mocking on the chin.

"It is a good one," she replied, after Top Chef star Padma Lakshmi noted that a question about whether Olivia and Aaron get intimate on game days was a "good one".

"Well, I will say that all the good luck charms are on the field and in the stands, so it has nothing to do with me. And, uh, no we don't. Not on game day. There's not a rule, but it just doesn't happen because there's other things to focus on."

Host Andy Cohen seemed dead set on embarrassing Olivia, so then asked if she and her beau slept together after a match.

"Depends on how late the game is," Olivia deadpanned.

"There's no rules by the way. It's just doesn't happen usually because there's a lot to do. But usually, yes. I try to have sex as much as I can!"

Things then took an upturn, with the host asking Olivia about her role on TV show The Newsroom. The programme was created by Aaron Sorkin and there have been whispers that he and Olivia didn't get along that well. The 34-year-old star was asked to tell the world the truth about the speculation, and she had no problem doing so.

"Aaron actually cleared the air for me and he put out a statement saying that it was completely not true at all. What I think happened is there was a story about somebody else on the show, and somehow it got translated that it was me," she explained. "But when it got out there, Aaron was very quick and came to my defence and said it wasn't true at all.
