Pamela Anderson: I won’t date until Christmas

Pamela Anderson isn’t “hiding in a corner” when it comes to meeting men.

The 48-year-old actress has been single since her divorce from Rick Salomon was finalised in April.

And Pamela, who has a string of marriages under her belt, admits she is thoroughly enjoying being relationship-free at this point in her life.

"It's great. I have my two puppies (Zeus and King) and my kids (Brandon, 19, and Dylan, 17)," Pamela told America’s People magazine. "I have friends. I'm not ready to go there right now."

Pamela is being kept busy on the work front with a new coffee table book entitled Raw due for release later this month and her online cooking show The Sensual Vegan going from strength to strength.

However, Pamela admits that while she isn’t going out of her way to find a new partner, she also isn’t actively avoiding the opposite sex.

"I've had some offers," Pamela said. "I've met some people, gone on dates. I'm not hiding in a corner."

But instead of searching for a new soulmate, Pamela is determined to focus on on getting the rest of her life in order first.

So she has set herself a dating deadline – and won’t be going public with any new romances until after the festive season.

"I've got laser focus," she concluded. "I am relentless when it comes to my kids and I'm feeling that I need my focus to be on my foundation, my kids and puppies – they are a lot of work. I want to take this time to get healthy. I said to myself I won't date anyone until after Christmas!"
