The biggest celebration of Polish cinematography abroad – Play Poland Film Festival, starts within a month, 9th October. This year the event extends out of Great Britain and will be held in Canada, United States of America and Norway, being a real treat for cinema lovers.

Year to year, festival organized by Polish Art Europe is recognized by a wider audience and arouses greater enthusiasm of the art community as well in Poland as abroad. Thanks to cooperation with the most famous film studios and film schools, during autumn screenings public will have an opportunity to admire almost hundred carefully selected pieces, including feature and short films, documentaries and animations. Among this year's partners can be found such prestigious institutions as SE MA FOR, Munk Studio, New Europe Film Sales, Cracow Film Fundation, Krzysztof Kieslowski Radio and TV Faculty in Katowice, Polish National Film School in Lodz or Wajda School. Quality of presented materials is also determined by the fact, that access to most of them was kindly facilitated by the best Polish film festivals: T-Mobile New Horizons. On the basis of that solid cooperation, Play Poland has a chance to improve its repertoire and conquere the hearts of not only Polish, but also British moviegoers. Not only cinema fans may be excited about the forthcoming event. Every year founders of the festival spice up the whole thing with a great number of exhibitions, workshops and accompanying even ts promoting Polish contemporary art. Posters are established in that famous graphics as Andrzej Pągowski (2013) or Tomasz Płonka, who designed this edition's one and additionally will be the special guest. Besides, this year festival joined forces with Edinburgh Art Fair, what gave talented Polish artists the opportunity to be exhibited during this exciting event.

The 4th edition will cover seven British and Irish cities: Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberfeldy, London, Birmingham, Sunderland and Belfast. Among this year's features spectators can find such widely recognized by international community of film makers pieces as 'Ida' directed by Pawel Pawlikowski, Krzysztof Skonieczny's 'Hardkor Disco', two unconventional movies directed by Anna and Wilhelm Sasnal – 'Parasite' and 'It looks pretty from the distance' and many, many more. The festival focuses on recently released, fresh productions proving, that Polish cinema still has a lot to tell, engages the spectator in lively dialogue and is able to impel as well for thought as for honest laugh. Among feature films will be screened als
o 'Life feels good' by Maciej Pieprzyca. Director will be the honorary guest and he will be participating in screenings in person.
