Poppy Delevingne 'to star in Guy Ritchie film'

Poppy Delevingne has reportedly landed a role in Guy Ritchie's latest flick.

Poppy, who is the older sister of mega star Cara, has worked as a model over the years and is also a regular on the party scene.

However it now seems as though the 28-year-old will be following in her younger sibling's footsteps into acting, after Cara successfully transitioned from the catwalk to Hollywood.

“It’s a massive role for Poppy. She’s becoming as popular as Cara - this will be her breakthrough role, a source told British newspaper The Sun.

The insider reveals she'll be starring in Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur, helmed by Guy and starring Charlie Hunnam and Jude Law.

Eric Bana and Djimon Hounsou round off the all star cast, with filming already underway.

“It’s a big opportunity for Poppy and she’s thrilled to have proved her worth on her own merit. Guy thought she was right for the part from the get go apparently. She’s got the right look and he knew she was a proper grafter.

“She’s not just about fashion and she’s longed for a blockbuster role for a while now," the source added.

It's thought Poppy will take on the role of King Arthur's (played by Charlie) mother Igraine, who is the love interest of Eric's Uther Pendragon.

The historical flick is slated for a July 2016 release.

Poppy spent her Easter break with family, including husband James Cook. She took to her social media accounts to upload photos of her young nephew Atticus, the son of her older sister Chloe and husband Edward Grant.

"These moments. My nephew," she captioned a photo of the tot.
