Prince Harry will reportedly enjoy “surprise entertainment” in honour of his birthday.

The British royal turned 30 years old on Monday, September 15.

And according to People magazine, his closest loved ones are throwing him a huge party with “surprise entertainment” in London.

Contrary to previous reports, sources claim Prince Harry’s in-laws Duchess of Cambridge Catherine Middleton and her sister Pippa will not be involved in organising the bash.

Prince Harry has been extremely busy with charitable obligations of late.

He recently finished organising the Invictus Games, a Paralympic-style event involving members of the armed forces who have been injured while on duty that took place in the UK September 10-14.

Many people are impressed with Prince Harry’s selflessness and admire his desire to help others.

"You could parachute him into anywhere, and he is a magnet," a purported family friend told the outlet. "People want to talk to him and he wants to talk to them and have a laugh. But give him a serious job to do, and there is no chance of him being frivolous."

The prince trained at Sandhurst and has served in Afghanistan as an Apache helicopter pilot. He quit that role in January, instead taking up a desk job in London, with one of his tasks being set-up for the Invictus Games.

In addition to a thriving philanthropic practice, Prince Harry is reportedly also focusing his attentions on matters of love and romance.

It is rumoured he is currently dating charity worker Camilla Thurlow. The pair reportedly met through mine-clearance charity The Halo Trust, an organisation his late mother Princess Diana hugely supported.
