Rachel McAdams ‘serious about Taylor Kitsch’

Rachel McAdams is “serious” about True Detective co-star Taylor Kitsch, according to reports.

The 36-year-old was spotted dining with Taylor in West Hollywood at the start of June. And now a source has confirmed that the co-stars are dating.

“It hasn’t been long but it’s serious,” the insider told Us Weekly.

Rachel has reportedly been “friends for years” with her fellow Canadian but they “grew closer on set”.

The rumoured couple star alongside Vince Vaughn and Colin Farrell in the second series of the hit HBO series. However Rachel has spoken in the past about how she doesn’t think work is the best place to meet a potential mate.

“A set may seem like a good place for romance, but I don’t think it’s very conducive; it’s too distracting,” she told Glamour. “Every relationship I’ve had with a co-worker comes after the fact.”

The beauty certainly has experience in that area, having dated her co-star of The Notebook, Ryan Gosling, for two years as well as her Midnight in Paris colleague Michael Sheen from 2010 until early 2013.

While she is now thought to be happy with Taylor, 34, it was claimed in April that she had a romance with her Southpaw screen partner Jake Gyllenhaal.

Meanwhile Taylor recently broke up with fitness instructor girlfriend Jennifer Welch.

“I don’t know if it’s full-blown love yet, but they talk constantly,” another source confirmed to Us Weekly. “They’re really into each other. She talks about him all the time!”

A representative for either star is yet to comment on the romance rumours.
