Robert Pattinson 'wants Perry to meet parents'

Robert Pattinson apparently wants Katy Perry to meet his parents.

The pair have been spending a lot of time together in recent months, fuelling speculation that a romance has blossomed. Robert recently spent time with Katy’s mom and dad during a visit to her hometown of Santa Barbara, California. Now it seems the 27-year-old Twilight hunk is eager for the popstar to get to know his family.

“Rob confessed that he was falling for her after their date night at the Björk concert, and it’s left Katy in turmoil. He’s planning a trip to the UK and wants Katy to go with him to meet his parents,” a source told British magazine Closer.

Last week it was reported that Katy was finding it “tough” to choose between British heartthrob Robert and her on-off musician beau John Mayer.

It seems John may have had a change of heart following his latest split from Katy, but she isn’t sure if he is right for her.
“John insists he’s made a ‘huge mistake’ and has tried wooing Katy back,” the insider continued. “Katy’s told her friends that she finds dating bad boys like John exciting, but has so much in common with Rob.”

Katy and 35-year-old John dated from last summer until March this year. They are said to have broken up several times, with John’s womanising reputation believed to have sparked a series of arguments.

She has now spoken out about the tumultuous romance, confessing she was smitten with the musician.

“Yes [I was seeing John, now it's] over," the 28-year-old revealed. "I was madly in love with him. I still am madly in love with him. All I can say about that relationship is that he’s got a beautiful mind. Beautiful mind, tortured soul. I do have to figure out why I am attracted to these broken birds.”
