Taylor Schilling suggests Teresa Giudice should “watch herself” in prison.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has been sentenced to 15 months in the same facility that hit series Orange Is the New Black is based on, after being convicted of bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy. And the actress who stars in the Netflix show has offered some words of advice.

"She needs to watch herself," Taylor, 30, told Access Hollywood.

Teresa starred on the Bravo reality show up until she and her husband Joe were charged and convicted. She is set to report to the Danbury, Connecticut penitentiary on January 5, 2015. From Taylor ‘s perspective, she thinks it’ll be best if she doesn’t stir up any trouble behind bars.

"Don't mess around too much," she warned. "Keep to yourself and find a few allies.”

Taylor plays Piper Chapman in the comedy drama. She was sent to prison after being involved in an international drug smuggling ring with her former lesbian girlfriend Alex Vause, played by Laura Prepon.

In portraying the stunning blonde criminal, Taylor deals with hypothetical realities that would take place in the slammer.

Storylines are inherently hard-hitting, but she has said in the past that she is comfortable with it all.

“I felt so supported by the writing and so believed in the story that it all felt worth the risks,” she told the American edition of Vogue. “I trusted [show creator] Jenji [Kohan] a whole lot and really felt ready to go.”

With that said, she added there’s nothing like the real thing. In her mind, Teresa has a whole new world ahead of her that she can’t possibly ready herself for.

“I don’t think it’s an experience anyone can prepare for,” Taylor told the publication.

Orange Is the New Black has been renewed for a third season, and is set for release mid 2015.
