Stephanie Pratt's dinner date with Kimye

Stephanie Pratt's drunken British accent fooled Kanye West into thinking she was English.

The former The Hills star grew up with Brody Jenner, whose father Caitlyn, formerly known as Bruce, used to be married to Kardashian matriarch Kris. It means the American star has met Kim's husband Kanye and even managed to pull the wool over his eyes.

"Kim and I have a mutual friend so I actually went out for dinner with her and Kanye West last year in Paris," Stephanie recalled to the British edition of OK! magazine. "When I drink I get a British accent, so Kanye thought I was actually from London, which was pretty funny."

Stephanie has had a bit of practice with the British accent, as she's currently starring on English reality show Made in Chelsea. She also dated one of the show's stars, Josh Shepherd, for a while.

Having always been in the spotlight, Stephanie no longer gets very excited about bumping into famous faces. However, there is one royal exception.

"Growing up in LA you get used to being around celebrities so I rarely get star-struck, although if I ever met the Duchess of Cambridge it would be a different story!" she admitted.

Stephanie has penned book Made in Reality, which discusses her surreal life. In it she also made a shocking confession about her addiction to meth, admitting that at the height of her drug dependency, she was taking it 13 times a day.

"I kept it such a secret from them because it was so important to me," she answered when asked how her parents didn't realise. "My parents were so naive, they brushed off any concerns they had because they thought it was the last thing I'd be doing."
