(Cover) - EN Movies - Uma Thurman thinks Marilyn Monroe was the most "seamless" actress.
The Kill Bill star attended the Chopard boutique in New York City this week to check out the brand’s Marilyn photography exhibit.
Uma gushed about the late screen icon and praised her performances on screen.
“I always had the highest respect for her work,” she told WWD. “If you’re an actor or an actress… you can see how incredible her performances were, how complete and how full and how seamless and how alive. It’s not easy.”
Uma has starred in a range of movies, her most famed being in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction and the director's Kill Bill films.
The 42-year-old is starring in upcoming romantic comedy Playing For Keeps, but is hoping to fulfil her passion for darker characters moving forward.
“I’m looking for more dramatic roles. I’ve done a lot of different things in my career. I have a very soft spot for comedy,” she explained.
“I’m trying to make myself steer back to my original passion for dramatic roles.”
Uma recently took time out to give birth to daughter baby Rosalind - her first child with Arpad Busson. She also has two children with her former husband Ethan Hawke.
