(Cover) - EN Movies - Emma Watson received a standing ovation for The Perks of Being a Wallflower at the Toronto Film Festival.

The British actress attended the Canadian premiere of her latest movie along with her co-stars including Logan Lerman and Nina Dobrev. After the debut showing of their movie, Emma excitedly tweeted how happy she was with the reception the film received.

"Did I tell you we got a standing ovation in Toronto Film Festival ? : ) #perks (sic)" Emma tweeted.

In The Perks of Being a Wallflower Emma plays the love interest of Charlie, the 15-year-old boy who the movie's plot centres on. This is Emma's first major role since starring as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movie franchise. Therefore the outstanding reception was especially poignant for Emma.

The 22-year-old took to her twitter page again to gush about how much fun she is having with her promotional duties to tie in with the movie's release.

"Onto LA tomorrow for the Perks Premiere! (sic)," Emma exclaimed on Twitter.

The actress has formed a strong bond with her co-stars on the film. During her Toronto red carpet appearance Emma was seen hugging cast mate Nina Dobrev. Emma also appeared close to co-star Ezra Miller when the pair attended last week's MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs). The pair were on hand to introduce Green Day to the stage at the event and afterwards Emma tweeted about how much she enjoyed the show.

"Met the band 'Imagine Dragons' last night at the VMA's," Emma gushed on Twitter. "They did the song 'it's time' for the Perks soundtrack. Now I'm also obsessed with. (sic)"
