Vergara ‘dating Manganiello’

Sofia Vergara is reportedly dating Joe Manganiello.

The Modern Family actress split from her fiancé Nick Loeb in May, following a stormy few years together. Sofia is rumoured to have met Joe at the White House Correspondents Dinner in May, which she attended with Nick.

"It's very, very new," an insider told Us Weekly of the budding romance. "They're having fun and getting to know each other."

It’s claimed the True Blood actor visited Sofia, 41, in Louisiana over Fourth of July weekend, where she is currently shooting Don’t Mess With Texas with Reese Witherspoon.

Sources tell the publication they "held each other and kissed several times" while dining out at Li'l Dizzy's Cafe in New Orleans on Sunday. The pair supposedly shared a table with other restaurant goers and even took pictures with a few of the diners.

Although it appears they are connecting at a rapid rate, the new romance apparently isn’t coming out of nowhere.

"Sofia is Joe's dream girl!" another insider revealed to the magazine. "He's been smitten with her for years. He's always had a huge crush on her.”

The actor, who has been linked with Bridget Peters and Audra Marie in the past, told People previously that Sofia was his ideal woman.

“Girls that do squats. I love a butt. Sofia Vergara, that's it,” the Magic Mike star said. “She's got that Latin thing going. She's got the butt, she's got curves, she's got a beautiful face, beautiful hair, just gorgeous. And she's feisty!"

The 37-year-old also revealed he needs someone who “can keep up” with his lifestyle and who has “her own identity and maturity” but is “adventurous”.
