Kevin McHale dreamed of being a weatherman.

The actor has become a household name thanks to his role as Artie Abrams in Glee, showing off both his singing and acting abilities.

He also had a stab at chart success with ill fated boyband NLT, but says recounting the weather was the original dream.

"I did," Kevin laughed on British TV show This Morning when quizzed on his weather ambitions. "I used to video tape myself in front of the fireplace, like I'd put up a map and do the weather."

Adding another string to his bow, Kevin is also fast becoming one of the hottest names in presenting. A guest appearance on Whose Line is it Anyway' in the States drew widespread praise, and he's now bringing his hosting skills to British shores with new panel show Virtually Famous.

Relocating temporarily to England was no problem for the 26-year-old, as he's fond of the way comedy is expressed in the UK.
"[You're more liberal in Britain] which is good, which is also part of the reason I wanted to do the show in the first place," he explained.

Since its first airing in 2009 Glee has won a whole host of awards, including four Golden Globes and six Emmys, and made its cast global stars.

As the show gets ready for its sixth and final season later this year, Kevin hopes the finale will be a hit with fans.

"It's going to be very strange. And I feel like as it gets closer, and the more I keep talking about it, the weirder it gets.

"But you know, it had to end at some point right' So I feel like it's nice to go out at a good place for the show and it will go out on top hopefully," he smiled.
