Christoph Waltz is reportedly set to star alongside Daniel Craig in Bond 24.

The Austrian born actor has received two Academy Awards for his work in director Quentin Tarantino’s films, Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained.

According to the Daily Mail, Christoph will now be flexing his action skills in the forthcoming 007 instalment, taking on a “significant” role.

“It’s not immediately evident whether the part’s friend, or foe, or a bit of both,” a source told the newspaper.

Another insider claimed Christoph’s character is an “extremely cunning, nemesis of sorts”, but no one on set has confirmed he’ll be portraying a villain yet.

The ensemble for Bond 24 is impressive, as Daniel will play legendary spy character James Bond for the fourth time in the new feature.

Naomie Harris, who acted the part of Eve in Skyfall, is also due to return, but it is believed she’ll be depicting Moneypenny in Bond 24.

Ralph Fiennes was cast as Gareth Mallory in most recent 007 film Skyfall and he is reprising his role in the next instalment. Chiwetel Ejiofor is also rumoured to be joining the cast.

Ralph told MTV News earlier this year the film was “meant to start shooting in October”. The Daily Mail reports Bond 24 will film on location in Mexico, Austria, Morocco, London and Italy. The spy picture is slated to reach US cinemas November 2015.

Christoph himself has quite a busy professional agenda at the moment, as he is currently filming Tarzan. The actor also makes an appearance in new comedy picture, Horrible Bosses 2, which also stars Jennifer Aniston.
