Alexander Skarsgard parties with brunette

Alexander Skarsgård was spotted partying with a mystery brunette in the Hamptons at the weekend.

The Swedish actor was enjoying a short break in the popular New York resort over the Labor Day annual holiday.

The 35-year-old hunk ended up at the Southampton’s South Pointe nightclub on Saturday night. He was accompanied by a mystery brunette who “was the focus of his attention for much of the evening”, according to New York Daily News.

The onlooker added that Alexander “had his arm around the woman and his hand upon her knee, and repeatedly checked to make sure her drink was full”.

Alexander is famed for his role as vampire Eric Northman on the hit HBO series True Blood. Sources at the venue revealed the star started “doing growls” at the request of his adoring fans.

Security at the nightspot had to escort an over-zealous male fan from the premises when he wouldn’t stop pestering Alexander.

The Hollywood hunk left the club with the brunette and two friends at around 4am.

Alexander has been making the most of single status after splitting from actress Kate Bosworth in July. He has been spotted at a number of New York party spots enjoying his time as an unattached male.

“He's single and he is loving the attention!” a source recently revealed.
