Kate Winslet hopes to be “sh****ng [herself]” over her movie roles for the rest of her career.

The British actress pays homage to Elizabeth Taylor on the cover of the September issue of V magazine. The stunning star has discussed her acting career in the publication, and admits she never wants to take on anything easy.

Kate has enjoyed an acclaimed career in the film industry, including an Oscar win for her role as Hanna Schmitz in The Reader.

The star hopes to continue challenging herself with her film parts.

“I hope I am sh****ng myself over the characters I play for the rest of my life. Because the day I go, ‘Oh yeah, that’s going to be a piece of pie,’ why f***g bother? If you do that, you do not learn,” she explained.

“I hope I’m always learning something. So I won an Oscar. It’s amazing. I’ve got that for the rest of my life for a performance I am proud of. It nearly killed me. I am really proud of the film. That’s it, moving on.”

Kate is renowned for baring all in front of the camera. The 35-year-old star says although she may look comfortable, she rarely enjoys filming nude scenes.

“I hate it! Listen, make no mistake, I just get on it. I just go in and say ‘Oh f***, let’s do it,’ and Boom. If you complain about it or procrastinate it’s not going to go away,” she said.

“It’s a profoundly bizarre thing to do. As actors you talk about it all the time. You can literally be tangled in sheets, and you turn to the other actor and say ‘What the f*** are we doing?’ ‘Dear Mum, at work today I had so-and-so’s left n*t sack pressed against my cheek.’ It’s sort of unethical if you think about it in those terms.”

Kate is shot by Mario Testino and styled by Carine Roitfeld for the cover of V magazine.
