Corman’s World: Exploits Of A Hollywood Rebel is not only extremely entertaining but also extremely informative.

This documentary boasts countless movie clips, as well as contributions by Peter Bogdanovich, Ron Howard, Jack Nicholson, Joe Dante, Martin Scorsese, Robert De Niro, Peter Fonda, Pam Grier, David Carradine, William Shatner, Jonathan Demme (to name but a few!), and of course the maestro himself. Jack Nicholson, who kick-started his career in the Corman classics ‘The Little Shop Of Horrors’, ‘The Raven’ and ‘The Terror’, speaks not only highly but also very fondly of the acclaimed director, who is also a friend. “Once in a while, he even makes good movies”, says Nicholson with a twinkle in his eye. In contrast, director Eli Roth observes that, “Corman is a rather square looking guy but who makes all these crazy movies”.
