After a young woman is raped by a gang of yokels, we move to the backwoods of America and a crazed killer is walking around with a nail gun. These murders are making police baffled and scared. Sticking people to trees, cutting hands off people and nailing someone to a highway. The crazy belief that a haunted house has the spirit of the murderer in its bones and is drawing many to its place. The woods are a killing field but is the house the source of this horror?

It is a mess and a mess that makes so little sense as to be worthless at watching. Do you like awful, poorly acted, weakly directed films? Well then go ahead and watch this film. It wants to merge haunted space and slasher face. The killer is a duplicate of many a horror idol but lacks any respect. Wise cracks and wit, this is so over used. I hate when someone cracks wise after a murder without the savage wit of say Freddy. Freddy was cutting (literally) and his jibs were to soften and aid the dark dream. Here they are used because whoever wrote (being generous) this film thought it was funny. Visually the film is empty and dull, the violence is so poorly executed and filmed. The set pieces are funny and not even in an intentional way. I hate films that are awful and over blown as a work that is a 'classic'. I do not buy into this at all....

88 Films have released some great films but this is one that wins only on its extras. The option to watch in two ratios adds little, The commentary by the Hysteria boys is delightful.... The extras are of interest to young film makers that want to make a slasher film or a film in general. It illustrates that a film can be made cheaply and with little budget. It shows that the story can be weak, wet and empty. It proves that fillm makers get this and work toward it. Motivated by wanting to make a film is in many film makers eyes but these guys did that and did it with gusto.

Shame it is utter tripe!
