Blue Murder Motel Series 1 arrives on DVD
To celebrate the home entertainment release of the brand-new, cosy Kiwi murder-mystery series Blue Murder Motel, we are giving away DVDs of Series 1, courtesy of Acorn Media International!
It’s time to check in for the perfect TV escape. Following its UK premiere on ITV3, this delightfully deadly Antipodean crime caper stars Michala Banas (Neighbours, McLeod’s Daughters) and Brett Tucker (Station 19, Neighbours) as married couple Vanessa and Peter Coleman—aka Vinny and Cole.
Swapping their high-pressure careers as Sydney homicide cops for retirement bliss, the pair set up a retro seaside motel in Mowai Bay on the stunning New Zealand coast. Believing their hardest days are behind them, their dream new life takes a lethal turn when a body is discovered in one of the apartments just one week after opening. As the charm of the idyllic location begins to crack, hidden secrets and unresolved grudges surface, proving that the next murder most horrid could be right around the corner.
With solving crimes running deep in their veins, Vinny and Cole’s detective instincts kick back in. They soon team up with local laid-back surfer cop Jamie (Jayden Daniels) to track down the killer before another guest meets an untimely end.
Packed with charm, quirky mysteries, and exclusive Q&A special features with stars Brett Tucker, Michala Banas, and Lucy Lawless, Blue Murder Motel delivers the ultimate in sunshine cosy crime for fans of Death in Paradise and Shetland.
