Jon Favreau joins Identity Theft

(Cover) - EN Movies - Jon Favreau has signed on to star in Seth Gordon’s latest comedy Identity Theft.

The actor will join Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy who are already attached to the project.

Variety reports that Jon will play Jason’s boss in the funny crime caper.

Identity Theft sees Jason play a happily married father-of-two who is raising a family with Amanda Peet’s character.

He discovers that a criminal has swiped his identity but when he confronts the person responsible, played by Melissa, he apparently finds more of a wake-up call than the justice he was after.

Jon also has a role in Alex Kurtzman’s People Like Us, but he has been spending a lot of him time behind the camera.

He has been working on the pilot for TV drama Revolution which is about all forms of energy ceasing to exist in the world.
