Emily Blunt happy to wear bonnet

(Cover) - EN Movies - Emily Blunt would like to make another period drama.

The 29 year-old has previously starred in The Young Victoria which followed the difficult early years of the British monarch’s reign. Currently the actress can be seen in Salmon Fishing in the Yemen alongside Ewan McGregor.

“I could wear a bonnet again,” she told Total Film. “I’m open to anything really. I’ve learned to embrace the unknown and really enjoy that moment when you read a script and it jumps off the page at you and you go ‘this is what I want to do’.”

The English star’s breakout role came in 2006’s The Devil Wears Prada playing a feisty personal assistant opposite Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. She has since set up home in Los Angeles with husband John Krasinski, known for his role in US TV show The Office. Despite moving across the pond, Emily returns to the UK as much as possible to get her “injection of British life”.

I work in Britain all the time, so for me I do always get that injection of British life that I crave when I’m here,” she joked.

“But that joy of the job. You’re quite nomadic, can go anywhere.”

Emily can be seen later this year in Looper alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt and the comedy drama Arthur Newman, Golf Pro.
