Chris Noth has thrown shade at his former Sex and the City co-star, Sarah Jessica Parker.

Over the weekend, the actor, known for playing Mr Big on the HBO TV series, took to Instagram to post a photo of himself working out in the gym.

"F**k new years - LETS GO!!!! (sic)," he wrote in the caption.

A short time later, a follower replied, "You mean f**k sjp & her award right? Lol (sic)," referring to Parker being honoured with the Carol Burnett Award, an honorary Golden Globe, at a special ceremony last week.

And Noth simply responded: "Right."

The exchange quickly began to circulate on social media, with fans questioning whether the 71-year-old and Parker, 60, were feuding.

"What did I miss?" one user wrote, while another posted, "I need the tea???"

Representatives for Noth and Parker have not yet commented further.

In December 2021, two women came forward to accuse The Good Wife actor of sexual assault, and later, two more followed suit.

Noth, who has always maintained his innocence, was fired from The Equalizer TV show and cut from the finale of Sex and the City revival, And Just Like That...

In an interview for USA Today in August 2023, the Law & Order star publicly addressed the allegations for the first time.

"It's a salacious story, but it's just not a true one. And I can't just say, 'Well, OK, that's it for me,' because of that. I'm an actor. I have other things that I want to do creatively," the father-of-two commented at the time. "And I have children to support. I can't just rest on my laurels. So yeah, I have enough to let a year drift, but I don't know how to gauge or judge getting back into the club, the business, because corporations are frightened."

Noth has been married to Tara Wilson since 2012.
